  • What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
  • Will I receive an order confirmation once I place my order?
    Yes. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully received. If for some reason you do not receive an email confirmation within 12 hours of placing your order, please email us at
  • When will my order arrive?
    Your order should arrive within 5-7 business days. Due to current intermittent shipping disruptions, orders could take as long as 10 days.
  • What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
    We apologize if your item arrived damaged or defective. Please return the item to us using our simple Return Policy and we will immediately process a full refund. To get a replacement item, please create a fresh order.
  • Can I cancel my purchase?
    In most cases, if you email us at with the order number, within 24 hours of placing your order, we can cancel the order before it ships and refund you immediately. But if the item has shipped, then you'll need to use our simple return policy to return the items for a full refund and place a new order for the items you want. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or on a holiday will begin processing on the next business day.
  • Can I make changes to an order I already placed?
    In most cases, if you email us at within 24 hours of placing your order, we can cancel the order before it ships and refund you immediately. But if the item has shipped, then you'll need to use our simple return policy to return the items for a full refund and place a new order for the items you want.
  • How do I receive promotional offers?
    You will receive notifications of sales or promotions by joining our mailing list here.
  • Where do I enter a promo code?
    Promo codes can be entered at checkout.
  • How can I determine the right size to order?

  • Where can I purchase the On the Rocks collection?
    Currently, the On the Rocks collection is sold exclusively through our online shop at If we decide in the future to also sell through retail boutiques, we will list them here.
  • Do you offer free shipping?
    Yes, we currently offer complimentary shipping within the United States. In most cases, we use USPS and shipments will arrive in 4-7 business days from the order being placed.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, we ship internationally. However, international shipments will incur an $25 flat shipping fee.
  • How can I track my order?
    After your order is placed you will be sent a confirmation email with a tracking link.
  • What is your return policy?
    On the Rocks gladly accepts returns on all items within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with original tags attached. HOW? Simply email us at with your name, order number and description of what you’re returning, and we’ll email you back a pre-paid shipping label. After we receive the returned merchandise from you (usually 5 days), we will process your return on the same payment method you used to purchase.
  • Do you offer exchanges?
    Our system doesn’t allow us to process exchanges. So, if you want to exchange your garment for a different size or print, simply return the purchased item and start a fresh order for the new item(s).
  • Who started the On the Rocks clothing brand?
    Dave Spare is the founder of On the Rocks. He lives in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, California. Dave is a former marketing executive turned designer. I created the On the Rocks brand because I believe that well-fitting clothing, with a comfortable drape and colorful prints, is essential to enhance your physique and demonstrate your boldness, creativity and unique sense of style - no matter how you're built! I believe that the right fit and design can increase your confidence and energy in any social setting.
  • What prompted the founder of On the Rocks to become a fashion designer?
    I've always had a passion for clothing fit and design, I finally decided to set out to make the "perfect cut" shirt and shorts. I guess you could say clothing has been in my blood from day one - my dad owned a men's clothing store in the 60's and my grandmother was a designer of high-end women's gowns, mostly for the Hollywood elite in the 40's. I created the "On the Rocks" brand because I believe that well-fitting clothing really can enhance a guy's physique and demonstrate his boldness, creativity and unique sense of style. My vision for "On the Rocks" is to become a go-to men's lifestyle brand for unique clothing and accessories focused on fun, outdoor social occasions such as poolside cocktail parties, beach parties, or boating. I've spent months with a kick-ass pattern designer working on just the right "perfect cut" to make your body look its absolute best, coupled with the softest fabrics that hang beautifully untucked. I look forward to hearing your feedback on our shirts and shorts!
  • How did the On the Rocks brand name originate?
    In addition to designing men's apparel, I'm an amateur mixologist. There's a beauty to enjoying cocktails with friends, outdoors in the late afternoon during the "golden hour". The "On the Rocks" design vibe is meant to reflect these perfect moments, thus our tag line "Cocktail Attire for Your Endless Summer".
  • Where are you based?
    Our headquarters are in Los Angeles, California, but we also have an office in Palm Springs, California.
  • Is your apparel ethically sourced?
    Our fabrics are made in the USA, England, Italy, and South Korea. The dyes we use are water based and non-toxic and the printing process is digital, all of which conform to the highest standards of sustainable printing. In addition, all unprinted fabric that is not used for our apparel is donated. Our apparel is manufactured in Vietnam and our factory conforms to the highest global standards for the ethical treatment of its workers.
  • Do you only offer menswear?
    At this time, we offer warm weather separates for men. We are planning to expand into men's accessories and possibly kaftans. You never know if we may add a women's category at some point, but currently we are a menswear apparel brand.
  • Are you accepting interns who are interested in working for On the Rocks?
    We're not currently working with interns, but as the brand grows, I'd like to hire - so please check back!
  • Are you currently hiring employees?
    We are not hiring at this time.
